THE NINE CORE PREPAREDNESS MODULES

Safe Harbor Alliance is pleased to provide a simple, doable and affordable approach to the complex and daunting challenge of becoming prepared in these difficult times.  The most common approach is for the uninitiated to start making lists of all the things that they think that and their loved ones will need in the event of a major emergency.  This is an understandable mistake and inevitably ends up in one of three probable outcomes, none of which solves the problem, nor provides real security:

1).  The list becomes so big,  so expensive, so unwieldy  and lacks strategic organization and prioritization that it rarely is completed.

2). People go out and buy food storage and other “obvious” necessities and store them in the basement or garage, possessing a potentially fatal false sense of security.

3).  They go buy a 72 hour kit and call it good.

Consumers have no thorough or strategic reasoning behind their purchases and often make their decision on a retail merchant’s pitch, who may or may not have real world experience with either the product or the actual living conditions in which this product will be used. Ignorance abounds in the preparedness market, with many engaged in the trade strictly to sell their goods with no worry or concern about the quality or reliability of their product.  A product failure in this field may very well end up in a tragic consequence.

Safe Harbor Alliance’s approach to this complex subject is a sane and organized one, where the emphasis is placed upon life saving knowledge, obtained through a simple system of 9 Core Preparedness Modules.  There are classes and courses on all the modules  (they are all free online) and there are corresponding products for every module.

All of Safe Harbor’s products are of the highest quality and we stand behind them.  These products MUST perform when called upon.  Even more important is the fact that you, the consumer, MUST know how to use the tools, skills and attitudes that we teach in the 9 Core Preparedness Modules.

Knowledge coupled with the right stuff provides a well earned deep sense of security.

The Nine Core Preparedness Modules

It’s Part Of A Process

It is important to have a process of thinking about Provident Living (aka, Self-Reliant Living, Preparedness) that allows you to wrap your head around an issue that may seem beyond your ability to cope with because it’s too big and complex.  Yet the opposite must be the case if you are to correctly accomplish the task.

By breaking it into “Nine Core Preparedness Modules” and understanding the order of priority within each module, the process becomes not only doable, but also enjoyable – This is because people who take responsibility for their present and future well-being are excited about themselves and life.

Structure

The nine modules give you an organized structure where you can focus your Provident Living efforts on the things you need to: 1) Learn, 2) Do, and 3) Have.  These three areas (Learn, Do & Have) must be understood and fulfilled in a synergistic relationship with each other in order for you to build a self-reliant lifestyle.  In the process you will find it much easier to help others do the same.

Gaining Knowledge and Understanding

It is vital to grasp the concept that, “What you know is far more important than what you own”.  Material possessions are of great importance, but without the proper knowledge and understanding they will be rendered less effective, if not completely useless.

For one thing, you may not have things that fill your true needs and priorities in balance across all of the areas that must be covered.  With that in mind, these Nine Core Preparedness Modules cover every aspect of what you need to learn, do and have for everyday life, including when disasters happen.
